Professor Dodge began teaching at Concord in 2000. He currently serves as executive director of the Illinois Legislative Reference Bureau, and is a Commissioner of the Uniform Laws Commission. A former prosecutor and a former assistant attorney general (Illinois), Professor Dodge previously served in the Illinois Senate President’s Office as Parliamentarian and deputy chief counsel to the senate president, where he helped write the rules for the impeachment trial of former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich and was part of a multiyear project to rewrite and modernize the Illinois Criminal Code and Code of Corrections.
